Do you remember the first time you heard the lie, “You’re not good enough”?
Were you left out of an event? Not picked for a team? Called a name or described in a less than favorable way?
It is the echoes of these moments that often stop me from pursuing my purpose. I see someone else who I believe can do it better and the comparison can tempt me to cower, believing the lies.
However, I have a God who pursues and never tires of coming for me.
He reminds me daily, even as I write this, that He created me for the purpose I have today, and He will also remind me of that purpose tomorrow.
My prayer is that anyone reading these words will feel a release from the lies that they believe, that they will look up and see the Father waiting with His hand out to pick them up.
We are His masterpieces created to do good works that were prepared in advance for us to do. (Ephesians 2:10).
My purpose is made for me and there are works prepared in advance for me. You also have a purpose and a plan. Your purpose is a gift from your Father and there are works that only you can do. Unlock your purpose and walk into what you have been made for
Accept the gift, open it, and share His handiwork.

When I am not writing, or mentoring, I will most likely be running with a group of friends, singing or traveling with my husband to Bend Oregon.
We live in the greater Seattle area and love the Pacific North West’s mild seasons and beautiful scenery. We have three grown children and still attempt to keep up with their activities.
It is my prayer that when you visit my site you will…
