How can we find peace among the pieces? I know when I am going through difficult days there are times it feels like God is just an observer.
Like Hagar in wandering in the desert, I wonder who really cares about what I am going through. But like Hagar I am reminded that God sees me, he is El Roi.
She [Hagar] gave this name to the LORD who spoke to her: “You are the God who sees me,” for she said, “I have now seen the One who sees me.” Genesis 16:13
In this episode Lori shares how she not only wants to acknowledge that God sees her, she wants to say ‘I See You Too’. Through journaling, she tracks the ways God is with her as a way to worship the God who sees.
How good are you at trusting God’s plan even though we are not sure how it is going to come together.
Through an illness with her father to her current cancer diagnosis, she has told God I am going to take You with me and journal those moments where I see You in this.
