That is a word that can bring me frustration and angst. Having to wait means a loss of control and not knowing an outcome is hard for me. When I am in a waiting season it can feel like forever and my mind will come up with all sorts of scenarios.
Waiting can also fill me with anticipation that is hard to contain. I remember the night before we would go on a vacation I could not fall asleep. Once we got on our way I would start the incessant questioning about how much longer until we would arrive.
In any case, whether it is for something fun or for answers, waiting is not something I do well.
How well do you wait? Is there a way to live life well even during seasons of waiting?
In this episode Melinda will share her message of living well even while we are in a season of waiting.
She knows how hard it can be, but she also looks back on those times and clearly sees 4 things that God helped her experience during her waiting season.
She was able to:
John 10:10 reminds us that the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
God wants us to live life to the full, even while we wait.
Join our conversation as we share our struggles with waiting and the blessings that have come from it.
