It is second nature for me to jump in and fix things when it comes to my kids’ problems. My reasons may be good, but often the outcome only keeps my kids from believing in themselves and being able to solve problems on their own.
I have had a hard time going from what I needed to do when they were younger to doing what I need to do now that they are adults.
In episode 116 Jill Savage and I covered the first 3 of 6 Things Every Empty Nest Parent Needs To Let Go Of.
In this episode we explore the last three:
- 𝑶𝒖𝒓 𝑪𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒅𝒓𝒆𝒏’𝒔 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒃𝒍𝒆𝒎𝒔
- 𝑶𝒖𝒓 𝑶𝒘𝒏 𝑰𝒅𝒐𝒍𝒔

I would love to hear which of the 6 things has been the hardest for you to let go of?
Number 5 was a concept I had never thought of and am so guilty of!
