“Do you remember waving to your son or daughter in your pajamas as they boarded the school bus? Or watching them walk through the school doors until they were out of sight wishing you could have said just one more thing to make sure they knew you didn’t mean to be short with them at breakfast?” Blythe Daniel
As mom’s we hope our children will remember our love more than our impatience.
In today’s episode, I’m joined by Dr. Helen McIntosh and Blythe Daniel, mother-daughter duo and authors of ‘I Love You, Mom – Cherished Word Gift From My Heart To Yours.’
This book is out just in time for Mother’s day! The devotions are designed to express love and thanks through word gifts to lift your hearts.
Women who embrace their identity in Christ and role as a mother are able to pass down through generations something more valuable than any hobby, trait, or keepsake. They have the opportunity to leave a legacy of love that is rooted in Christ
Let it encourage you today that God has known the dynamics of your family from the very beginning. You are not just a mom, you are just THE mom for your children.
Tell Me
What is one legacy you’ve received from your mom that you hope to give to your kids?
