It is one thing to be lied to, but it is another thing to lie to ourselves because we want to avoid something.

So, what is it that we are avoiding and how is that lie keeping us from living the life Jesus created for us?

Today I am so excited to have Dr. Saundra Dalton-Smith back on the podcast to talk about her new book, “Set Free to Live Free – Breaking Through the 7 Lies Women Tell Themselves.” 

She explains that mental lies are like bacteria that have gained access through an open wound, and that it is time to start treating it! 

The Seven Lies Women Tell Themselves are:

  • Perfection 
  • Envy 
  • Image 
  • Balance 
  • Control
  • Emotions
  • Limits

I will look at the lie I struggle with the most, LIMITS.  Dr. Saundra explained to me that I limit what I ask God for based on what I think I deserve. – OUCH!  She also shares 5 stages of freedom within each of the lies! 

Dr. Saundra leaves us with a Free Woman’s Creed and invites us to become a member of the Diamond Society, giving us the special criteria!
